Description
Strain: West Pacific 74. Concentrated viral lysates are purified through sucrose gradient or chromatography. Final antigens are comprised of intact virions, free viral structural and nonstructural proteins, and residual host cell proteins. NS1 and E proteins are present in the preparations. Live virus is available upon request.
This antigen is a purified preparation of Dengue 1 virus particles. It is suitable for use in assays for detection of presence of antibodies against Dengue virus, and as a positive control for the presence of the Dengue virus antigens in a sample. The product is formulated in a buffer that should not interfere with conjugation chemistries that are typically used in immunoassay development.

Inactivation & Safety — Each lot of dengue antigen is inactivated chemically and this inactivation verified using a sensitive tissue culture based infectivity assay. This product contains no detectable infectious material.
Applications — IgG and IgM detection assays including ELISA with polystyrene and latex solid phases. Western Blot. Lateral flow assays. The antigens are suitable for conjugation to gold or latex particles. Technical assistance with ELISA protocols, conjugation to nano gold and sandwich monoclonal antibody applications is available.
